My KitchenAid kitchen vent control panel broke today.  It’s Model No. KXU8036YSS0, installed in 2015. It's an older version with sliding controls.  One of my neighbors had the same issue, so we fixed it together. I'd like to show you how to order and repair parts with pictures. The slide key(knob)s was broken, and it didn't move from side to side.  I opened the base cover and detached the parts of the control panel.  We needed to remember the original state of the control panels and switches. I recommend that the letters be in the red mark.  I will show which sliding knobs match each location.
